What is Mandelic Acid ?

Mandelic is an natural AHA obtained from the hydrolysis of bitter almond extract.

Mandelic acid has a larger molecule than glycolic acid which makes it less irritating .

Recommended for sensitive skins that do not tolerate other alpha-hydroxyacids .

Mandelic acid possesses anti-seborrheic , keratolytic and purifying properties , ideal for blemished skins .

Recommended as an adjuvant in bleaching treatments , mandelic acid helps to normalize skin tone . Its high level of tolerance diminishes skin irritation .

Excellent results have been obtained with mandelic acid in the treatment of photo aged , wrinkled skin , oily , acne-prone skins and irregular pigmentation . The beneficial effects are due to its keratolytic , moisturizing , purifying and tone regulating actions on the skin .
